Dear Customer
On this page, we would like to emphasise our full compliance with Legislative Decree No. 116/2020
In the ever-increasing efforts to tackle global environmental challenges, sustainability policies are gaining ground worldwide. In this direction, Legislative Decree n°116/2020 has proven to be an important step forward for Italy in promoting sustainable practices in the packaging sector. This law requires that all packaging be marked with an environmental label in order to inform consumers about its environmental implications and encourage more conscious choices.
The main objective of the decree is to reduce the negative impact of packaging on the environment and to promote the adoption of more environmentally friendly materials and less impactful packaging solutions. Environmental labelling on products is a tangible way to involve consumers in the process of making informed choices by providing them with clear information on the sustainability of the packaging and products they buy.
**Content of the Environmental Label**
The environmental label on packaging will provide a range of key information, including:
1. **Material Type:** Indicate the type of packaging material, such as paper, cardboard, plastic, glass or metal. This helps consumers understand the origin of the material and its environmental implications.
2. **Disposal Instructions:** Will provide instructions on the proper disposal of the packaging after use. This promotes recycling and proper disposal, reducing pollution from improperly managed waste.
3. **Environmental Impact:** It may include information on the impact of packaging on the environment, such as the emission of greenhouse gases, use of natural resources and the possible generation of toxic waste. This helps consumers make informed decisions.
4. **Recycling Symbols:** Symbols indicating whether the packaging is recyclable or compostable may be included. These symbols make it easier for consumers to understand how to handle packaging after use.
5. **Sustainable Innovations:** The label could also highlight sustainable innovations or good practices adopted by the manufacturer to reduce the environmental impact of the packaging.
We are constantly striving to reduce the environmental impact of our products and to contribute to the protection of the environment, in line with current legislation.
