Logistics and Transportation Manager

🚚 Role Description

We are looking for a Logistics Manager — with secondary responsibility for Transportation — who will lead and optimize all activities related to goods handling, logistics flow management, and transport coordination. This role is key to ensuring operational efficiency, on‑time deliveries, and a high level of service for customers and partners.

📌 Main Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and monitor logistics and transportation activities.
• Supervise order preparation, inventory management, and inbound/outbound operations.
• Track logistics KPIs (on‑time performance, costs, vehicle utilization, lead time).
• Manage relationships with carriers, freight forwarders, and logistics service providers.
• Optimize warehouse handling and workflow processes.
• Coordinate the internal logistics operations team, fostering efficiency and collaboration.
• Optimize transportation costs.
• Ensure compliance with transportation, safety, and documentation regulations.
• Propose innovative solutions to improve processes, timing, and service quality.

• Proven experience in logistics roles, preferably within structured companies.
• Strong command of IT tools and management software.
• Negotiation skills with carriers and suppliers.
• Knowledge of transportation, customs, and shipping documentation regulations.
